That is me on the closest end to the camera, second row of the horn section. We went to Montreal and competed with the Toronto Optimists who were the number one band in Canada at the time. What a great event, there in Montreal! The Chessmen mede second place, having only missed by a hair the first place nomination which was retained by the Toronto Optimists. Wonderful memories

As I go through the "Golden Years" (although they are slightly tarnished), I often go back through the years in memory and pause when I get to my days in Drum Corps. What wonderful times we had. 50 years

Yes it has been 50 years. I am the center drummer of picture #4. I have never stopped drumming, passing through many styles. Am approaching my 4th year with Scout House. It was a joy to find your site. I recognize many faces even after this long period of time.
